Homage to Trinidadian Textile Designer Althea McNish

Follow your Art tutors Pauline and Christina visited the amazing exhibition of Althea McNish 'Colour Is Mine' at the William Morris Gallery in September. It was a great exhibition detailing Althea's life as a Textile designer from Trinidad and her life's story from drawing board to designing for Christian Dior and Liberty's amongst other famous designers/stores.

Pauline and Chistina decided to use her wonderful designs as inspiration for a project for the Haringey Council's over 50s art class residents with some beautiful outcomes.
